This article specifies one approach for all four children, which is the use of ani-pad with Proloquo2Go. There is often more than one option that will need to be trialled for children with complex communication needs. In this assessment, you need to plan a different Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) option for your chosen case. The recent technological advances have generated devices that are lightweight, easy to use and equipped with the latest speech recognition and generation features. Various Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices are being used nowadays to help people with developmental disorders to get back to their normal life. Around 30% of the children who suffer such issues like Autism are not able to able to develop their speech skills properly that is required for daily communication. They, in fact, experience a severe disability in this case and the Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is a solution (HILL, 2006).
